Kellett
Guitars are aluminum bodied guitars similar to the
aluminum custom shop guitars that where sold by Fender in the
early 1990's.
All Kellett guitars
are light weight and of the highest quality, they are equivalent or
better to the best custom-shop
Fenders.
The first
models are being made from what's left of the limited
supply of the original run of Fender aluminum Strat & Tele
bodies.
Custom styles as
well as many recognized shapes like flying 'V', Explorer, Les Paul, etc. are also
available.
Aluminum sounds amazing
when used as a guitar body.
It has similar
properties to wood and a more pure tone.
Some of the other
benefit's of aluminum is the fact that it makes excellent
shielding.
Kellett guitars loaded
with single coil pickups are nearly as hum-free as a wood
guitar with humbuckings...a Kellett guitar with humbuckings is
dead quiet!
Kellett guitars
come with custom made wood necks, the best parts available
and custom one-of-kind finishes.
They can be custom
ordered in any combination of pickups, bridges and neck
shapes.
The finishes
and custom anodized anographic artwork on these
guitars are unique and only available on Kellett
Guitars.
The Finishes include multi colored
anodizing, nickel plating and etching...some have all three types
and are our top of the line models.
The graphic's are
one-of-a-kind custom original anographic artworks by Peter
Kellett.
Peter Kellett is well
known as one of the worlds premier anodizer, blazing a trail that
has yet to be caught up with, and who's works have been
compared to Andy Warhol.
All the Custom shop
aluminum Fenders have custom anographic artwork and finish's by
Peter Kellett.
The the first 25 of the
new Gibson custom shop Jimi Page guitars that are coming out will
come with an original Peter Kellett aluminum anographic
painting of Jimi Page.
Exclusive original
artwork can also be commissioned by Peter Kellett to
fit personal requests.
Soon available will be
Limited edition theme guitars.
With themes representing
well known musicians and special events such as the largest annual
motorcycle event in Sturgis.
